Coca-Cola’s “Share a Coke” campaign

Recently I came across a YouTube video about the Coca Cola’s “Share a Coke” 2015 campaign and felt that it was a genius marketing plot by the firm. Do schools kill creativity?

Recently I came across this Ted Talk video by Sir Ken Robinson on “Do schools kill creativity? ” and I thought that it will be interesting to share with all of you. Sir Ken Robinson challenges the way we’re educating our children. He  think that the emphasis on mathematics rather than humanity is harmful to promote creativity and I agree with him.

The jobs that are around today such as social media manager did not exist 10 years ago. Radical change in the nationwide education system is required. A shift in paradigm from results-oriented learning to a more process-driven and holistic form of learning. Structure education system will stifle off creativity and critical thinking in students. Rather than trying to stifle the creativity of students, I believe that we should be actively trying to promote it instead. Without creativity, students will not be able to adapt to the challenges of the future.

Do go watch the video if you have the time! It’s the most viewed TED Talk of all time
